Here We Go

ARSENAL 2
(
Ljungberg 77th, Flamini 90th)

DINAMO ZAGREB 1
(da Silva 12th)

Aggregate: Arsenal 5 Dinamo Zagreb 1

Huarrgggghhhh ... what a relief!

Now all of us Gooners can actually say, "What new stadium hex?"

After that opening day 1-1 draw (with Aston Villa some more, aiyahh!!!), I was wondering if this year I will be simmering (like laksa gravy) in front of Astro watching Arsenal pass and pass and pass and pass and never shoot, like last year.

After we got Rosicky I thought that fella sure can make a difference. He can shoot and score from outside the penalty box. That will make the opponents open up by defending a higher line, and then Henry or any other fella can sneak in to score.

But then Rosicky got injured so now we are actually still using last year's script. Die man, like this.

But good news also here ... hehehe

BORO 2
(Pogatetz 80th, Viduka 90th)
CHELSEA 1
(Shevchenko 16th)

Mourinho "not disappointed". I think Chelsea did not play their normal game.

"I am not disappointed. I am disappointed when I deserve to win and do not win. That is when I am disappointed," Mourinho said afterwards. "When I do not win but do not deserve to win, I am not disappointed. Football is 90 minutes, it's not 75 or 80. We were a bit unlucky to lose the game. But overall their attitude was much stronger than ours and I think we did not deserve more."
